Boost

What an intense couple of weeks! First off, we really miss all the Boost students. It has been so much fun working with the kids this year and very difficult to not have that daily contact.
In response to this unprecedented and unexpected change in school and lives, we have been reevaluating how to support our Boost kids and their families. We are moving forward with a website to help stay connected and provide academic resources and guidance for enrichment activities. In addition, we hope to pass along beneficial economic and health information.
We were in the middle of several units when the decision was made to switch to online school. While we unsure when or if the students will be able to perform before next fall, at this point, we would like to continue to practice the songs and skills they have been working on. The playlist for the choir songs is post under the choir tab. Soon, a piano accompaniment track will be posted so the choir students will be able to practice. Some helpful violin videos are posted under the violin tab to help the students practice and remember the techniques they have learned.

We are able to take "attendance" through contacts on this website. Tracking attendance is one of multiple ways we meet the criteria for the funding for our program. Please leave any comments or questions when you access the site. You can also e-mail me questions or comments at patriciawcasey@hotmail.com. We love to hear from you and would appreciate any feedback.
